Case Description
I would like to know the average cost in the Denver Metro area for a exam & consultation with a hygienist cleaning. I have just had one completed here in New Zealand and think the price was way above what I paid for in the US but that was 8 years ago. I would like to know the average cost now. There was no work done on any teeth, just a high-tech computer x-ray, consultation and cleaning. Thanks

Cost Estimate: $$250-$350
It can be a broad range depending on what type of cleaning you had. There is a simple Prophy $ 80-$100, down to Scaling and Root Planning $200- $250. A Comprehensive New Patient Exam $70-$110, and a Full Mouth set of Radiographs $95-$115.

I think the prior cost range is about right. A LOT has changed in dentistry over the last 8 years.
