When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
  • Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
  • Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description, special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
  • Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
  • Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors. Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Cost Estimate: $90-?
Hi. My name is Dr. Heather Stamm and it is very hard to give you a cost estimate when we do not know what is going on. Usually you at least get an x-ray and limited exam for around $90, then you can get estimate once your tooth pain is diagnosed. If you have insurance they will cover the initial x-ray and exam. Also my husband is a dentist and may be closer for you because he is located in Westminster. His number is 303-466-3222.

Pain can be the result of many problems, not just a cavity. The unknown is a reason for concern. You first step should be evaluation and X-ray of the problem.

How is the health of the rest of your mouth? Any gum disease? There is a lot to consider.

Let us know is we can help.

Sorry to hear that you are having pain-that seems to make everything seem more scary.

First step is to get in for an emergency visit to slow/stop the pain. Make sure your new dentist knows a bit about your prior dental experinces (or what you may be scared of from the past).

An emergency visit can be somewhat brief, but you do want to feel confident about the new Dr and staff. In your new "home" office, everyone should add to that feeling of confidence.

After the pain is calmed down, a good office will want to do a very thorough examination to help you avoid upcoming pain in other teeth. All of your experinces should help build your trust in that Dr and office.

It should be possible to get you out of pain fairly quickly-that will make everything look better!

Hi!

Doctor Oogle just emailed your case to me, and I am interested in finding out more about this tooth. How bad is the pain on a scale of 1 to 10? What stimuli set the pain off in this tooth? (Hot, cold, pressure, chewing, etc?) I would be more than happy to see you if you''''d like. I also have some reviews in Doctor Oogle that you can read if you''''re interested. Let us know! You can either book an appointment by calling us at 303 693 1215 or by scheduling through our web site, www.summerbrookdental.com

Thanks!

Dr. Craig
