When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

I don''''t do oral surgery or extractions in my practice. We refer to an oral surgeon in town. For a low cost and quick option I would recommend a Comfort Dental or Perfect Teeth practice in your area. Most can see you on an emergency basis on the same day, and possibly extract the tooth at that time for you. Good Luck!

Sounds like you are really having some trouble. If cost is your main concern, probably comfort dental would provide a quick solution. You will want to be careful with your neck and ear soreness. Sometimes that can be a sign of TMJ (jaw) problems or a spreading infection-don''''''''''''''''t mess around with it. Afterwards you will want to have your new dentist design a program to keep those type of problems from coming back. A bad tooth is hard to forget. You will also want to make sure to discuss the importance of replacing back teeth with your new dentist once you feel better. It can make a big difference over time. In some situations a dental implant is necessary at the right time. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Sounds like that tooth has been a problem for a while! If you don''''t have dental insurance or health insurance, it''''s going to be kind of expensive to have work done, but I would recommend against finding the "cheapest" dentist. I know Comfort Dental and Perfect Teeth have a reputation for seeing emergencies on the same day, being inexpensive, etc, but I have had a lot of patients come over to our practice due to really poor treatment at some of those places. I hate to see people get treated like a dollar and not like a person. If you''''d like us to take a look, I''''d be glad to help. Although payment is required at the date of service, we can often see you on the same day, and we do extractions in our office, in case you just want to have the tooth "pulled." We also offer financing options, and would be more than happy to work with you on that issue. Our philosophy is that a person should be treated as a human being. Still, good luck with whomever you end up seeing! I hope you are out of pain soon.
