Dr. Gilmore is a very caring dentist. She has set up her practice from a woman's point of view: you get a free hot wax hand treatment, the bathroom is like a spa with a supply of real hand towels and all the amenities a woman desires to freshen up. Her office is very zen-like with very interesting hard cover books to view. She also has a refridgerator with a supply of water and healthy drinks (free). They are always on time and respectful of your schedule and wallet. If you didn't know, Dr. Gilmore built and designed her building just the way she wanted for her practice. She is a very intelligent woman, always up to date on new technology and tools. She guarantees her work and has highly trained and wonderful assistants. Her computer system is quite impressive for patient history and viewable cosmetic treatments.

I stopped shopping for dentists when I found Marsha, the front office manager. She is very friendly and knowledgable. She worked with my insurance, even though they were being difficult.

When I arrived, the office looks more like a spa. They offer hand paraffin waxing, sunglasses, blankets and headphones. That all eased my anxiety.

Dr Gilmore took her time and explained everything to me as she went. There were options and she told me her recommendations and listened to me. She even gave me her cell phone number in case I needed my bite adjusted over the weekend. I did, and she was happy to come in and take care of me. Overall, the experience was excellent.

I started with Shauna with much "dental anxiety" from previous experiences. My teeth were so sensitive, I had a hard time with just the cleaning, much less fillings. She was so calm and patient, stopping frequently, using warm water to rinse, and so gentle. In the beginning I needed it all, numbing, the gas, and then home to bed because I had such a headache from being so anxious and tense. It didn't take long to trust her and to realize it was the dentist, not the procedures that had always caused my anxiety. My teeth stopped being sensitive, I was no longer anxious, I now think it's relaxing and pleasant no matter what the procedure, and I have needed quite a few! including crowns, fillings, and even a root canal! No problem! I no longer need the gas, and no longer get headaches nor do I have any anxiety! I take much better care of my teeth, and have needed less and less procedures because of it. My whole family loves her and her staff. To top it all getting a hand treatment, a neck pillow, music... and anything else to make it comfortable, Thank you Shauna for all the extras and my great dental health today.

I am very happy to have found Dr. Gilmore, especially since I had no references from friends (thanks Dr.Oogle!). They were able to see me the same day and gave me a tour of the office, walked me through all the equipment & procedures and then did a very thorough cleaning & exam. They listened very closely to the areas of my concern and checked them out.

The follow up visit to fix 3 older, leaking fillings was also perfect. I had no wait, the Dr. was ready for me immediately, the explained their proceure and then painlessly followed that plan. She spent a great deal of time making sure everything was exactly right and I am very happy with the results.

I can't really say how expensive/cheap her services are, I don't have any idea what normal is. But I would say that I paid out of pocket about the same as my previous (also excellent) dentist in a different state. Since there was some out-of-pocket I gave her 3 stars, but I actually think that the insurance is stingy with reimbursement.

She is also a very nice person, interesting to talk to and is a third generation dentist, which inspires extra confidence. It's very important to me that she really listens to my concerns.

I have already recommended her to my friends.

About Hygienist: All the hygienists and the receptionist, are really nice and easy to work with. They all seem very good at their jobs. There is one there that is really funny, she cracks me up. Although that can sometimes be awkward with a mouth full of dental stuff. Easily 4 stars for her staff too - they're great.

Dr. Gilmore is the best! I am terrified of the dentist and had been avoiding getting some much needed work done for over a year because I was scared to try a new dentist. I needed a crown, filling, and some work done on my gums around my wisdom teeth. She was so caring and made sure I was as relaxed as possible and the entire procedure (over 3 hours) was pain free. She made it very clear that her main concern and focus was making me as comfortable as possible. Anytime I flinched or acted like something hurt, she would stop and ask what I felt and make sure I didn't need more anesthetic. She was extremely thorough and is obviously a perfectionist. I have never been to a dentist who was as caring as Dr. Gilmore. When I first arrived, they gave me a tour of the office and asked if I wanted paraffin wax for my hands. I usually dread and avoid dentist appointments but I don't have to anymore.

This is going to sound cliche, but WOW is all I can say about Dr Gilmore. I am an terrified adult patient who just won't go to the dentist unless an emergency. One came up. I had a broken tooth that also caused me sinus issues. Once we met, Dr Gilmore took over and made my visit a very pleasant one. The hand wax was warm and relaxing, I had a warm blanket to hold. earphones to not hear the sounds and an eye mask not to see anything happening. I never felt the tooth extraction at all. She accomadated my small mouth issues,never asking me to open wider or became frustrated with me or my fear. I have 4 wks of work to be done and when they called me yesterday to verify my appointment tomorrow, laughing I stated I couldn't believe it, but I was excited to be coming in. That is truly a 1st. My office staff looked at me,not knowing what to say about the words coming out of my mouth or the laughing and excitement in my voice. I feel so much better and expect only better things to come. Dr. Gilmore and her entire staff are very friendly and extremely good at what they do. I've had 5 cavities detected early enough where I didnt need Novocain and they were fantastic. Add in the paraffin wax treatment and lavender pillow and you have a dentist visit you look forward to.

This is the first Doctor's office where I was invited to tour the entire office space before I was invited to take a seat in the examination chair. I was hesitant to take my boys to a "grown up" dentist rather than a pediatric dentist, but they could not get any more patient and comprehensive service anywhere else. I broke both my front teeth off in 1968 at age 10, so I've had much experiencce with many dentists. BUT Dr Gillmore's crowns are works of art, so much so that most people say they didn't know I had crowns.

I started seeing Dr. Gilmore 9 years ago when I needed a dentist in Colorado for what turned out to be an emergency visit - a root canal. Yikes! But, I've gone back ever since. I even flew back to see her every six months when I was living in England for three years. I am a complete baby when it comes to pain or the anticipation of pain. Dr. Gilmore and her staff know this and ensure that I am comfortable and my visits are painfree. While I cannot say that I've become a fan of going to the dentist, I wouldn't trade my experiences with her for anything. She and her staff are patient, caring and seem to be very accomplished professionals.

In addition to the great work that Dr. Gilmore does, she was a competitive swimmer in college. For some reason, that gives her even more credibility for me (okay, I may be biased as I am a swimmer).

I was particularly impressed with the services she provided to my father who suffered from Parkinson's disease. I didn't know how she would be able to treat someone that couldn't swallow - but she managed to take care of him without causing significant discomfort. I was very protective of my father and felt comfortable leaving him in her care.

When I went to Dr. Gilmore's office, not only was I treated like a human being and not another number, but the personal treatment extended beyond the normal. Hi, I have read through most of the other reviews and this dentist office may seem to good to be true, because almost everywhere you go it seems to me that customer service has taken a fall. However, this for this dentist and staff, they have harnessed that value. A friend referred me to Dr Gilmore when I was frustrated with my dentist Perfect Teeth, for 30 min wait times, cold environment and what I found out to be a list of work that I did not need. They could not even take good xrays. They said I needed a root canal and Dr Gilmore said no, she was able to save the tooth. As everyone says, the office is beautiful, clean, modern. The staff is knowledgable, caring and polite. I appreciate how detailed they are at giving info. It is also helpful for the reminder calls and 6 months reminder mail cards. I found myself looking forward to my last visit. I used to have to just about hypnotize myself from the fear I'd have going to my old dentists, that has almost faded now.

My insurance has covered most of the cost and if it is not completely covered, the office will bill you, not like other places that need payment up front.

Dr. Gilmore was highly recommended to me by my brother when I told him I needed a lot of dental work done. I needed to get my gums healthy again, a couple of cavities filled, a crown on a broken tooth and to have old crowns replaced on my top front teeth. I am in the middle of having my front teeth done. I have temporary crowns now while they're making the permanent ones. The temporaries look 100% better than my old crowns so I can't wait to see the end result. I was able to use Care Credit in their office for a interest free payment plan too. Dr.'s staff is amazing! We had a long, personal talk at the start of my initial visit where we talked both of oral needs and life. I have known Dr. Gilmore for 5 years. I recently broke my crown on my front tooth. The crown needs to be redone, but she suggested that I bleach my teeth and the new crown will match a much brighter color. Great idea, but I still have a broken front tooth. Well, she repaired that broken crown and you can not tell. The match was perfect and looks great. I can't wait to get the new crown and have it match beautiful white teeth.

I have to say the staff is amazing. They are all very caring and knowlegable. Brenda is very funny and lots of fun. I have seen many, many dentists and Dr. Gilmore is THE BEST. I consider her the most knowledgeable and committed dentist I know. She not only knows and does her stuff but she also makes sure she has the best staff and the best equipment. I had gone to cheap large offices who were on my PPO plan before and they don't provide the type of customer services that Dr. Shauna does. I likely judge my perception of the office by my care performed by Sharon for the largest part. The most time I spend at the office, is with her. I can't say enough great things about her. I would like to introduce Dr. Gilmore, not only as a top of the line dentist who does excellent work with any dental procedures, but as one of the nicest people I have met who truly cares about all her patients. As refugees, we had an extremely difficult time settling down in this area, and finding a good dentist was the last thing on our mind. After being recommended to Dr. Gilmore by a friend, we were at first apprehensive, like with any other doctor. Dr. Gilmore and her staff surpassed all of our expectations and made things a lot easier for us, even in our time of crisis, and fixed my entire families teeth, while certainly being very busy. She has always been great with my kids, even in the beginning when they were very young. From making my older son a custom mouth guard for skiing, to doing bridge and crown procedures for myself, Dr. Gilmore has always been quick and eager to help us in a time of need. The results with any procedure she does are always excellent. Years ago, I was afraid to smile, dreading the appearance my teeth. I told Dr. Gilmore how i felt and she did what she does best and made bridges and crowns for several of my teeth. I was so happy with the result, and she told me that my smile was her best reward.

Dr. Gilmore takes all of the stereo typical feelings about going to the dentist and puts them to rest! Have known her for 4 years. I am not an easy patient. Between breathing through my mouth, low tolerance for oral pain and high sensitivity to everything poked in my mouth, Dr. Gilmore has made my visits comfortable and relaxed.

Most recently, encountered tooth pain over night. Called her early next morning and she saw me within 2 hours on a day off. She found an absessed tooth and shared the info with me in a way that did not throw up red flags or alarm me. She took care of it right there, more comfortable and less pain than many fillings in my past (before Dr. G). What was this? A root canal. I can't thank her enough for making what most people fear the most turn out to be very much like a routine office visit.

I have been going to Dr. Gilmore for about 7 years I think and have been happy with her and her staff since day 1! They offer the best care with the most up to date practices. I have had 1 crown that Dr. Gilmore did for me and it has never given me any troubles. It is comfortable and looks great. I wish my other crown (done by another dentist) were as nice.

Just today I had to have a surface on the other dentist's crown smoothed. The procedure was quick, painless, and effective. I left feeling so much better! She also adjusted my night guard which feels so much better now! And I was so pleased that the visit didn't cost me a dime (I get my teeth cleaned there 2 times a year and I guess an adjustment like this is part of the annual care they give me?) Plus I had to bring my son with me and the staff was so wonderful with him. He was delighted to get to take home a toy from the treasure chest. He is only 2 1/2 and has never been to a dentist. When it is time for his first cleaning, I know he will be eager to go after this positive first experience. Thank you Dr. Gilmore and staff!

It's been working for several years now.. My wife's 4-unit bridge developed problems, and Doctor Gilmore's response was, "It's supposed to last a lifetime," as she replaced it free of charge.

I am dental phobic--thanks to Dr. Gilmore I can report I am no longer phobic!! The doctor and her wonderful staff put me at such ease , I actually fell asleep. The rooms are peaceful and spotless. A spa menu (such as paraffin dip , neck pillow, and blankets) is available. Of course, Dr. Gilmore's patient, knowlegeable, and kind manner are extremely reassuring. She is gentle and considerate. I first saw her when I had an emergency. She was honest, thorough, and fit me in her busy schedule immediately. I can't rave enough about her. She also keeps up with all the latest technology. I can't recommend her strongly enough!
