Dr. Greenhalgh is very friendly, explains the treatment and care thoroughly, and is careful and gentle. His office is always clean. His assistants are just as kindly and competent. I'm a wimp when it comes to pain, but they are so nice and provide me with laughing gas, a blanket, TV, and headphones if I want. Plus the office has big windows with good views, to distract one from the anxiety that comes with going to the dentist. Sometimes I even get my hands paraffin-dipped like at the spa. I'd be happy to refer any of my friends to Dr. Greenhalgh.
About Hygienist: Alaina absolutely rocks!!! She's cheerful, easy-going, gentle, thorough, sweet, social, and knows what she is doing. She researches everything before she uses it on her patients. Cares about what you are comfortable with, but will still get you for not flossing as much as you should. I think she is an excelent hygienist and she is a good friend.

Dr. Greenhalgh has been my dentist for at least 15 years maybe longer. The dental work I have had done has been mostly fillings and crowns. If I were to have any veneers or esthetic work done there is no one I would trust more. I have never experienced pain with a procedure, Dr. Greenhalgh's chair side manner is very soothing and he is very skilled at dentistry. I would not trust anyone else with my teeth! Over the years I have had various insurance coverages, but I have always stuck with him even if I have to pay out-of-network costs. His staff is fantasic, very efficient and helpful!
About Hygienist: Alaina is amazing! She is very through and knowlegeble. I trust her completely with my teeth and know that I am getting the best care possible. I love the parafin hand wax while I'm getting my cleaning.

I went into Dr. Greenhalgh to get a second opinion on some work that another dentist said that I needed. Even though he was not in my insurance plan, I chose to go to him and pay out of pocket because after meeting him and his staff I felt completely comfortable. The other dentist I went to misquoted some work that I needed, and Dr. Greenhalgh was honest. I changed my dental plan so I could keep coming to him in the future. He is amazing and I would and have recommended him to anyone that needs to go to the dentist. When my insurance messed up on paying one of my claims, his office wrote a letter to the insurance provider and encouraged me to do the same, I did and ended up getting everything covered. They have gone above and beyond my expectations.
About Hygienist: Alaina is my hygienist and I absolutely love her. She makes me feel comfortable and eases the stress of having to go to the dentist. She is gentle and you can tell she really cares about her patients. She is fun and she honestly make going to the dentist worry free for me. I cannot imagine going to any other hygienist. She is amazing!!

I found this dentist office online and decided to go in for a consultation for a cosmetic procedure, since it was near my home. I didn't expect much, since my previous experiments with the dentist haven't been so great. But Dr. Greenhalgh and his team have changed my perspective. From the very first moment I stepped in the door I felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff was awesome and everyone seemed to enjoy being in the beautiful office and of course that rubs off. I will definitely go back and make this my permanent dentist check up office. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for cosmetic or just routine dentist. Dr Greenhalgh was kind and understanding and didn't try to force anything, he listened and gave his opinion. From my research he is a reputable dentist and very knowledgeable. I started seeing Dr. Greenhalgh when I entered the "adult" world and left my parent's dental coverage for my own. I had been going to my old dentist since I was a child and while I liked him and his staff, I am a thousand times happier with Dr. Greenhalgh and his staff.. Every procedure is explained in full detail beforehand, including what insurance will and won't cover. Everybody in the office, from Dr. Greenhalgh to Rana, his coordinator, is extremely courteous, professional, and thorough. Not enough great things can be said.

Exceptional dentist with a great supporting staff. I never realized how nice the dental visit could be! my prevoius dentist was always in a hurry making it impossible to talk about issues and concerns, he only paid attention when it meant he may profit finacially via some type of dental procedure. I had a root canal that had been sensitive to hot and cold since it was done some 25 years ago. My old dentist would always ask about it but never took any steps to alleve the issue, just asked about it!! Within a year of starting with Dr. Greenhalgh he diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue with my root canal, no more hot and cold sensitivity, what a relief. Without a doubt the best choice for a full service dentist, I could not be happier. His staff is helpful and very proficient, all questions are answered quickly with accuracy, no issues.
About Hygienist: Alana, is great, always very concerned about your dental health, and a great resource for advice on what to use and how to use it. I have been to several dentists throughout my life and have had braces twice. For the first time in my life I am happy with my teeth...both in how they feel and how they look. I have had an off bite forever, and while still not perfect, my teeth finally meet up and feel like they fit together. Dr. Greenhalgh did this all with veneers (which explains the high cost part of my review). He spent 6 months making sure he would do it right and always talked with me and made sure he did it to my expectations as well. I can't say enough great things.

I reached out to Dr. Greenhalgh after reading the reviews on this website almost a year ago. I have a lot of dental work completed in the last 20+ years (Since I was 5). Dr. Greenhalgh is as nice in person as he looks in his photo. He really listens to his patients and never rushes thru any procedures. He is very detailed and a perfectionist. He is not satisfied with the results unless I am. The dental work is very gentle and virtually pain free. He helped me decide on a long term plan and is very honest. He creates an environment with his staff (including Mary Ann and Alaina) that makes going to the dentist as pleasant as possible. In the past, I have had terrible, fair and good dentists come in and out in my life. Dr. Greenhalgh is the best! I am very satisfied with my fillings and crowns. I have recommended him to friends, family and colleagues at work. Although he is out of network for me, he is well worth the additional cost and 30 minute commute!

Besides my regular cleaning visits, Dr. Greenhalgh has done fillings, crowns, bite adjustments, and whiting. I also had gum repair done (at his recommendation) by one of the partners in his office. Dr Scott Greenhalgh and his staff are absolutely the most courteous and professional team I have ever been treated by. Dr Greenhalgh is on the leading edge of the latest denistry techniques and treatments and takes the time to explain the benefits and costs of any procedure he recommends. At the same time, he leaves the final decision with the patient and I have never felt pressured to take a treatment that I was not fully comfortable with. The staff is almost like my friends as they know me by name, know my family and my hobbies and interests. I have never felt any unusual or extreme pain under his care and he always asks if I am okay when the treatment is extended. When I preferred gold crowns over porcelin Dr Greenhalgh explained his recommendations and the benefits and draw backs of each, but deferred to my preference. Cost wise I'd say they are by no means cheap but they do work within the constraints of my insurance and will recommend options if the cost is too high. Great office staff who will work reschedules as necessary and always mail and phone reminders.
About Hygienist: Every hygienist I have had under Dr Greenhalgh's care has been top notch. His current hygienist, Alaina, is virtuallly pain-free in her cleaning process and very engaging and friendly. Optional hot wax treatments for your hands almost put you to sleep in her care. Firm yet gentle in her emphasis on flossing which I tend to blow off. And her own teeth are fabulous so she obviously knows her stuff!

After not having been to a dentist for about 8 years, I chose Dr. Greenhalgh based upon internet reviews of him, and I have never been sorry for my choice. He has an excellent staff which I look forward to seeing every time I go. They all know my name, and I know theirs. They care. Everybody there... the front desk people, the hygienists, and of course the doctor himself... are all very professional and yet thoroughly enjoyable to be around. Notably different and above the bar was my first visit, Dr. Greenhalgh showed x-rays and photos of my teeth and gums, explaining in detail the locations of my cavities and next steps. A new discovery for me was learning about the cause of my receding gums, stiff necks, and jaw soreness - the clenching of my teeth - which is minimized by the TSS (Tension Suppression System) dental device. In the past, I have had bad experiences with fillings. I came to Dr. Greenhalgh in search of sedation dentistry for my numerous fillings. Not only was I happily sedated for all five my visits, I was treated with the upmost care and respect during my entire stay. After 36 years of the same dentist, it was really time 4 a change and I never realized how amazing dentistry could b! It was like day and night. Dr. Greenhalgh is the best, gentlest, dentist I have ever been to. I had broken four of my molars - mostly from eating popcorn, and was avoiding my old dentist . I knew I needed several crowns and I didn't like the color matching my old dentist did (you could tell which teeth had crowns). I have some friends that went to Dr. Greenhalgh and I was very impressed with the crowns he made for them. After two years without a dentist, I finally got the courage to go to Dr. Greenhalgh. He took the time to get to know me and listened to my concerns. I now have five new crowns from two appointments and am very happy with the results. About Hygienist: Alaina is awesome - the best! I recommend her to all of my friends and anyone I overhear having bad experiences at the dentist. She uses the latest tools (water pulsing - I think - much more effective than the old metal scraper) to clean your teeth and in between the fun stories she tells, she always asks if you are feeling any discomfort at all - not allowed in her chair. She is gentle, and very thorough; in the nine months I have been seeing her, my gum numbers started at 3's, 4's, and 5's, now they're 1's, 2's, and a few 3's! She will even give you a spa hand treatment if the paraffin wax is heated up (usually afternoon appointments, I think - ask!). After avoiding dentists for two years, I now look forward to the appointments.

I can not imagine anyone more dental-phobic than me. Yet, this man has saved my mouth over the past 15 years AND reduced my fears! IV sedation was the answer for me. (But the best thing about this office is the MANY solutions and choices you have there.) I came to Dr. G AFTER many poorly done crowns and full mouth periodontal surgery. I had gone to the same hygienist for over 13 years before getting the courage to change. My OLD periodontal cleanings were the old scrape scrape with a hand tool. But Alaina uses a state of the art tool that reduces the scraping time by almost 75% and yet does a better job than the old way. And ask her about the new mouth cancer screening process that takes only 3 minutes and detects any possible cancer in stage one (as opposed to the old sight method that often didn't detect it until stage 3 or maybe 2) It is as easy as using mouthwash! He and his staff are very professional and courteous, but most of all, they cater to people like me who are anxious about the dentist's chair due to prior bad experiences. They "check-in" with me during procedures to make sure I am okay and don't need a break. They also listen when I tell them if I feel pain when I shouldn't.I have had some pretty extensive work done over the last couple of years (after avoiding the dentist for the preceding five) and I have had nothing but GREAT experiences at Dr. Greenhalgh's office--from the front desk to billing. My husband and I have had Dr. Greenhalgh for over 20 yrs. My husband has had minimal work done but I on the other hand have had 9 crowns and a front cap done. He and his staff are always caring and concerned about our comfort. He is an excellent dentist who uses the latest technology to keep your teeth in great shape. We wouldn't trade him for the world. As a child, I had terrible experiences at the dentist. These experiences left me with extreme "dentist anxiety" that I assumed would haunt me every time I went to the dentist for the rest of my life. For those of you who have Sleep Apnea, please be sure to read this. Dr. Greenhalgh's extensive knowledge and experience has had an extremely positive impact on my life. Dr. Greenhalgh is a true professional who genuinely cares about the needs of his patients. He has been our family dentist since 1998. At one of my periodic cleanings Dr. Greenhalgh diagnosed my having TMJ. He talked to me about how I might consider using a dental appliance while I slept. It was at that moment that I chose to tell him I also have Sleep Apnea and use a CPAP machine every night. He then explained how this appliance could possibly help with my Sleep Apnea as well. I gave the okay for him to order and custom fit me for a TMJ/Snore Guard type dental appliance. He asked me to speak with my pulmonary doctor regarding the possibility of replacing my CPAP machine with this new appliance. I was told that it was very important to have a Sleep Study performed to ensure that the dental appliance, like the CPAP machine, was enabling me to breathe properly while I slept. I had the Sleep Study while wearing only the dental appliance. All went great! I no longer have to use the CPAP machine. I also no longer have TMJ issues. Thank you Dr. Greenhalgh!

It was pure luck that I chose Dr. Greenhalgh and I couldn't be happier with that choice! When I came to Dr. Greenhalgh, I needed 20 year old fillings taken out and replaced. They gave me additional pain medicine before we started, encouraged me to take breaks, and kept me entertained with television shows. I was so relaxed, I even started falling asleep! Dr. Greenhalgh has always shown care and concern during my treatments, including cleanings (he visits after the hygienist is done), fillings and other procedures. Almost all of the hygienists have been gentle and understanding of my sensitive teeth, and have done everything to make me comfortable (love that numbing gel!). I always get a reminder call before my scheduled cleanings, and one time they even called because it had snowed the night before and they were concerned about whether or not I would be able to make it. I appreciate the treatment I receive at the office, even the "extra" things like paraffin dip for my hands. With regards to my experience with Dr. Greenhalgh and his staff I would like to point out one thing that was of outmost importance to me: I have suffered dental anxiety for years which probably contributed to much of my dental problems. When I first met Dr. Greenhalgh - more out of necessity than choice - my 30 year old fillings were cracking my teeth and I just had to get bridges and crowns done. First of all his very calm, professional and pleasant manner spoke to me. He thoroughly assessed and clearly explained the problems and thereafter we put together a plan of attack. Some 3 years later my teeth were back in excellent shape. Not only do they feel good but they also look good. Now that my teeth are back in good shape I continue to see Dr. Greenhalgh for my checkups and cleanings. The office is very nice and all of the staff is wonderful. I have not had any bad experiences at all, and have actually enjoyed going to Dr. Greenhalgh which is a lot to say because I have had several dentists before, and bad experiences with all of them. Dr. Greenhalgh is the best dentist I have ever seen and I beleive one of the best there is! He is so caring, knowledgeable, accomadating, and skillful. I recomend him to anyone and especially to someone who is afraid to have dental work done.

My experiences with Dr. Greenhalgh and his staff have all been excellent. The staff did everything they could to make me feel as comfortable as possible, including listening to music and watching tv and movies, while they performed their work. The office staff was very helpful with contacting my insurance company and clarifying any and all questions that I had. Dr. Greenhalgh went out of his way several times to contact me after I had several visits for a root canal to make sure that I was feeling okay and to see if I had any questions or concerns. The entire office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I travel extensively for work and they have been very accomodating and helpful in setting up appointments for me. I am very pleased with Dr. Greenhalgh's work and his entire office staff, so much so that my finacee has switched to his office as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Greenhalgh.

I recently moved to Denver from Dallas and was very hesitant about finding a new dentist based on unfavorable experiences in the past. I feel blessed that Dr. Greenhalgh came highly recommended to me. It was by far the best dental experience EVER! He and his staff are very caring and offer a comfortable and relaxing visit each time. The office is beautiful and very spacious and the ammenities are AWESOME! My last visit I had several silver fillings replaced and could not have been more comfortable. I got to relax during the whole procedure in a massage chair, I got my hands waxed, and watched a movie on a big DVD screen - Very Cool! If your looking for a knowledgable and super caring dentist, than I recommend Dr. Greenhalgh.....hands down.

Dr. Greenhalgh has restored my entire mouth. He and his team have always given me the best care. I have a very difficult bite and it always adds an element of challenge to my dentistry. His staff is always concerned about my comfort. They always offer me headphones, television, neck pillows, blankets and a special treat of hand waxing. All this adds up to an exceptional experience. Dr. Greenhalgh or one of his assistants always call after a procedure to check on me. Not often do you get a all from a doctor!! The first time he called me I was shocked. One last thing, Dr. Greenhalgh's injections are amazing. If anyone is afraid of injections that should be a patient of Dr. Greenhalgh. They will never worry again. My wife just had treatment and was very nervous. All she can talk about is how nothing ever hurt! This office gets and A+ with me.

To be honest, dentistry doesn't get much better than this! The office is beautiful and comfortable, the staff is very competent, the office manager runs everything like a well-oiled machine and last, but not least, Dr. Greenhalgh is smart, competent and thorough. The icing on the cake: He's an extremely kind and thoughtful person. Too good to be true, you say? Please believe me.One example: I had a root canal done and a subsequent crown was fitted and inserted by Dr. Greenhalgh. You know how they use the colored paper and say, "tap-tap-tap" to see if your bite is correct. Well, on the first try, the crown was perfect--no shaping or trimming was required. It was a perfect fit the first time. With this attention to detail, how can you go wrong?Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Greenhalgh and his staff. (If you're from out of town and you're shopping for a new dentist and feel a little lost, look no further--Dr. Greenhalgh is the one!)

I came to the doctors office needing work on some previous faulty dental work from a different dentist. When I met Dr. Greenhalgh he was patient, kind and knowledgeable about my needed dental work. He made sure I felt comfortable before during and after each session. I spent a lot of time in his chair and it was always made endurable with his endearing manner and gentle touch. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist office but at Dr. Greenhalgh's office I always looked forward seeing him and his staff and saying hello.
