I can not imagine anyone more dental-phobic than me. Yet, this man has saved my mouth over the past 15 years AND reduced my fears! IV sedation was the answer for me. (But the best thing about this office is the MANY solutions and choices you have there.) I came to Dr. G AFTER many poorly done crowns and full mouth periodontal surgery. I also had many other reasons to fear dentists. Yet the more I go to his office, the easier it is to deal with the fears. He has restored my mouth to full health!

In this office, the patient is in control! No surprises. Everything is explained patiently and thoroughly. Everything is the state of the art! And my mouth is healthier, by far, than it has ever been.

As for price: They are fair, but not cheap. And worth every penny!!

I used to dread dental appointments so much that I would have nightmares and look at my appointment like a prisoner on death row looking at an execution date. Recently, I have almost forgotten my appointments!! (No problem. The office will call you or contact you to remind you of appointements however (and when) you would like to be reminded.)

Can you call a Dentist (and his staff) a Hero?!?

Alaina also uses all the state of the art equipment and methods. I had gone to the same hygienist for over 13 years before getting the courage to change. My OLD periodontal cleanings were the old scrape scrape with a hand tool. But Alaina uses a state of the art tool that reduces the scraping time by almost 75% and yet does a better job than the old way. And ask her about the new mouth cancer screening process that takes only 3 minutes and detects any possible cancer in stage one (as opposed to the old sight method that often didn't detect it until stage 3 or maybe 2) It is as easy as using mouthwash! No lie! Remember: I am the biggest dental phobic there is! (Or was?)

Dr. Greenhalgh is the most friendly dentists I have ever had. His cutting edge on technology both in electronics and in medician gave me confidence in him from the very beginging. He spent the extra time to explain every detail of my x-rays and even went over digital pictures with me. I left the office with no question about the health of my teeth and gums and without discomfort.

About Hygienist: Alaina had been my dental hygienist for about 2 years. She has been very knowledgable about the health of my teeth and gums and knows the correct cleaning techniques to make my cleaning the most effective. She is also very personable and makes the trip to the dentist office enjoyable and fun. I wouldn't want anyone else to clean my teeth!

I had my upper fillings replaced and the entire experience was great. The staff was so wonderful. They catered to all my needs and made sure I was completely comfortable. I felt very relaxed around, not only Dr Greenhalgh, but the entire staff. They treated me with the laughing gas and the doctor's assistant was so funny I didn't even need the headphones or movie they provided. I still have more work to be completed and would not want any other team. I am looking forward to returning all the smiles they have given me.

About Hygienist: Alaina is the best. My mouth is soooo clean. She is very personable, but makes the experience painless. She gives a goodie bag that has all the new products and the basics for me to try. I take it to work so I can brush after lunch. I am glad she is part of my dental experience.

Great place to be to get your dental hygiene in order. My previous dentist office, facility, tools, technology was like back in the 1950's and going to Dr. Greenhalgh was like moving into the 21st Century, latest and great technology, office up to date, comfortable office, nice fish tank too, great Customer Service and they really care about your dental needs. Magazines are up to date and new. The cost maybe more but what you get for it, is not an issue. They say you get what you pay for and it's true here. I aint leaving anytime soon. Come check them out you'll see what you're missing!

About Hygienist: Alaina, shes the bomb too. Always wants to make sure you're pain free, comfortable, and makes sure you have a goody bag when you leave. Even a call at home to make sure you're doing well. That's customer service!

I have a terrible case of TMJ and I put off treatment because who likes to go to the dentist? A family member recommended Dr. Greenhalgh and I made my appt. I have never been so relaxed at the dentist before nor treated so well. Dr Greenhalgh and his staff are caring, gentle, concerned and attentive to your needs. While my treatment is ongoing, I walked in feeling helpless and walked out feeling hopefull. After just 3 weeks I have significant relief. Follow up is excellent. Treatment is comprehensive. I could not more highly recommend Dr Greenhalgh and his entire staff, from front desk, to Hygienist, to billing. Just amazing...

After going to another dentist for years and getting less than favorable results I was fortunate to find Scott Greenhalgh, DDS. I have found he and his entire staff is genuinely concerned about their patients, they provide excellent care, and are more than just friendly, and unlike most when you make an appointment you won t have to sit around for long periods of time waiting to be seen, they are punctual! I am 60 years of age and have had many experiences with dentists. Outstanding! I obviously highly recommend the entire staff.

I intend to have Dr. Greenhalgh do my implants and crowns in the near future!

Dr. Greenhalgh is the best dentist I have ever had. He and his staff are very professional and courteous, but most of all, they cater to people like me who are anxious about the dentist's chair due to prior bad experiences.

They "check-in" with me during procedures to make sure I am okay and don't need a break. They also listen when I tell them if I feel pain when I shouldn't.

I have had some pretty extensive work done over the last couple of years (after avoiding the dentist for the preceding five) and I have had nothing but GREAT experiences at Dr. Greenhalgh's office--from the front desk to billing. Everyone is courteous and professional but also friendly.

Dr. Greenhalgh's office is literally across town--45 minutes from my house on a good day. It is well worth the drive for a dentist and staff who know what they are doing and pride themselves on doing not just a good job, but a great one.

I am extremely happy with all of the restorative work that has been done; and, I now go in for my regular cleanings and check-ups free of anxiety. Dr. Greenhalgh and staff will change how you feel about the dentist!!!

I always feel comfortable and in good hands when I receive treatment from Dr. Greenhalgh. Everyone there is friendly, yet still very professional. Dr. Greenhalgh and his staff always take the time to explain eveything they are doing and the reason why. Dr. Greenhalgh doesn't settle for just an okay result. In the past he's taken extra time to adjust work he's done to get things exactly right. He's replaced work I've had done with other dentists with overlays that I'm extremely happy with. I would recommend Dr. Greenhalgh and his staff to anyone.

Dr. Greenhalgh is probably the best dentist I have had the pleasure to work with. He has excellent chair-side manners, does the most possible to keep the patient out of pain, is very thorough, cares about the quality of work performed on behalf of his practice, and will resolve any problems in a fair manner.

Everyone in his office is customer service oriented and pleasant to work with.

He has been the only dentist that was successful in reaching out to my husband and convinced him to correct his dental problems. This helped both my husband's general health and my own.

When I went through chemotherapy, everyone is this office treated me with kindness and concern, and made sure that I got the best dental care possible during this difficult period.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Greenhalgh and his staff - he is an excellent dentist - I would consider him the gentlest dentist I have ever met.

My husband and I have had Dr. Greenhalgh for over 20 yrs. My husband has had minimal work done but I on the other hand have had 9 crowns and a front cap done. He and his staff are always caring and concerned about our comfort. He is an excellent dentist who uses the latest technology to keep your teeth in great shape. We wouldn't trade him for the world. His staff is the greatest also.

About Hygienist: He has had hygienists who have stayed along time with him. That is unusual. If they don't do the job they aren't kept long. I've always had great cleanings and good advice from his hygienists. he has a great team.

As a child, I had terrible experiences at the dentist. These experiences left me with extreme "dentist anxiety" that I assumed would haunt me every time I went to the dentist for the rest of my life. I started seeing Dr. Greenhalgh about 1 year ago to have some needed dental work. He was aware of my anxiety and was very patient with me as well as compassionate. To my surprise, by my third visit I actually received 3 1/2 hours of dental work without once feeling any anxiety. I felt relaxed through the whole treatment. I have never felt any pain while receiving dental work from him. I would highly recommend Dr. Greenhalgh to anyone who is looking for a dentis.

For those of you who have Sleep Apnea, please be sure to read this. Dr. Greenhalgh's extensive knowledge and experience has had an extremely positive impact on my life. Dr. Greenhalgh is a true professional who genuinely cares about the needs of his patients. He has been our family dentist since 1998. At one of my periodic cleanings Dr. Greenhalgh diagnosed my having TMJ. He talked to me about how I might consider using a dental appliance while I slept. It was at that moment that I chose to tell him I also have Sleep Apnea and use a CPAP machine every night. He then explained how this appliance could possibly help with my Sleep Apnea as well. I gave the okay for him to order and custom fit me for a TMJ/Snore Guard type dental appliance. He asked me to speak with my pulmonary doctor regarding the possibility of replacing my CPAP machine with this new appliance. I was told that it was very important to have a Sleep Study performed to ensure that the dental appliance, like the CPAP machine, was enabling me to breathe properly while I slept. I had the Sleep Study while wearing only the dental appliance. All went great! I no longer have to use the CPAP machine. I also no longer have TMJ issues. Thank you Dr. Greenhalgh!

About Hygienist: I high recommend Alaina because she is a very knowledgable and experienced hygienist. She is gentle, yet extemely thorough. She is really good with my special needs son as well. Along with her great sense of humor, she is patient and kind. She shares information that enables me to take better care of my teeth and gums.

Dr. Greenhalgh has been my dentist for what seems like forever. Going to the dentist as weird as it sounds is a trip I don't mind taking. Over the years I have had quite a lot of work done and he has made my smile look absolutely glamorous. I am one of those people that smile all the time and he has made it so that my smile is something I don't mind sharing. I feel like he has really taken the time to know me, and my expectations as far as my dental hygiene. He is very thorough and detailed in everything he does, to make you feel comfortable and relaxed regardless the procedure. Dr. Greenhalgh is very caring and gentle. He expresses genuine concern for his patients. My mouth does not numb very easy and he gets it right every time and without too much pain. He is considerate of your needs and wants. He is very friendly and easy to talk to as well. His staff goes beyond to make you feel at home, and I do every time I walk in. The staff has always worked with me on payments and problems with the insurance. Dr. Greenhalgh, his staff, and his office environment is an all around awesome expierence.

Dr. Greenhalgh is the first dentist since childhood that I feel really cares about me and my health. When I first found the practice I was astounded when I came in and they remembered details about me and my family!

Over the last 12 years I have tried 2 other practices because of insurance, cost and location. Both times I went once and quickly returned to Dr. Greenhalgh. I drive about 60 miles to get treatment there.

I never feel as if they are trying to talk me into more treatment. We go at my pace.

I will be with Westwood and Dr. Greenhalgh forever.

Dr. Greenhalgh is an excellent, excellent dentist. He took the time to get to know me and to find out what my concerns are. Before he does any procedures, he is really great at explaining all the details of what he is planning to do and why he is doing it. On top of that, he is very gentle when he works on my teeth, absolutely painless. I love the office atmosphere. It's really relaxing and everyone there makes you feel very comfortable.
